2003, Wofford founded

role of president. There she
designed and delivered
curricula to Fortune
1000 companies with
audiences ranging from 10 to
800 learners. In 2006,
Wofford transformed
PresentersPlus into
Monica Wofford International,
providing comprehensive
corporate training that
enhances the careers and
lives of employees, while
creating measurable
return-on-investment for
companies.
In 2008, Monica Wofford
International, Inc became
the
multi-division company known
as Contagious Companies.
While Monica still provides
coaching,
speaking, and
training, she also
serves as the CEO of Contagious Companies,
providing a well rounded
offering of services

In an effort to give back to her community, Monica also
serves as the 2007-2008 President of the Board of Freedom Ride,

Wofford
launched her career as a part-time public speaker in 1989. During 12 years
in the retail industry and six years in the wireless industry, she managed,
coached and led salespeople, trainers and other managers. During that time,
she worked with companies including Cingular Wireless, Bell South Mobility,
Casual Corner, Foley's and The Sharper Image.
Wofford has penned several books
and training products including Contagious Leadership, Contagious Confidence
and Contagious Customer Service and Speaking of Success (with Jack Canfield,
Steven Covey, and Ken Blanchard). She also serves as an adjunct instructor
for The University of Phoenix. Wofford earned a bachelor's degree in Speech
Communication from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's Degree
in business administration from LeTourneau University. In addition, she
holds several Langevin
certifications in training.
